Anybody tried this using Vista?
Select all your files and folders from a Memory Stick Pro. (I had about 60 Mbytes) Cut and paste into a backup directory on your hard drive. Format the Memory Stick with NTFS. Cut and paste all your files and folders back.
Of course XP doesn't recognize NTFS in a Memory Stick. (I stuck it into my laptop) Cut and paste into a backup directory on your hard drive. Format it FAT Cut and paste all your files and folders back.
Somewhere along the way 95% of my files dissapeard?! Just folders and a few files left. Post your result so I can decide to file a bug report.
Thanks, Mario

How do you know there are still issues with USB? USB has been around for a while. And problems like this would have, or should have been flushed out before public beta test. Regression test would have caught this.

There are still issues in Vista concerning usb. There have been lots of bug reports in the TechBeta program. I have had problems with an external drive and a thumb drive several times myself.
